ABOUT ME

I am a behavioral researcher focusing on understanding user perceptions through collaborative design and iterative empirical testing.

My expertise spans various methodologies, including experimental research or A/B testing, surveys, and open science, which helps me approach challenges from multiple perspectives within social scientific research.

Over the course of my career I have worn multiple hats: account manager in advertising, a field researcher in rural India, a high school teacher, and a psychology researcher! During my stint as a business analyst with Deloitte, I focused on enhancing Colorado State's Childcare Assistance Program. This project underscored my commitment to developing impactful, data-driven solutions that address real-world challenges and contribute meaningfully to community well-being.

By leveraging my social psychology and data analysis background, I strive to foster positive change and improve systems that support underrepresented and vulnerable populations. Today, I am working on my PhD in experimental psychology and data science from the University of Washington in Seattle. I plan to transition to an industry research role once I graduate.

MY RESEARCH APPROACH

My research approach is rooted in a sequential mixed-methods designs. I prefer to deeply understand the problem space through qualitative inquiry. This informs subsequent quantitative designs where I measure and analyze key variables to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations. I advocate for this iterative, mixed-methods approach throughout the project lifecycle to ensure quantifiable results are grounded in rich, contextual data.
